Every signal on the Signals page carries an AI Score from 0 to 100. It is an estimate of the signal's quality, not a promise that it will win — a high-scoring signal can still be a losing trade. Higher is better. Open a signal to see the score and its AI Analysis panel.
How it is calculated
When AI analysis is available, the AI model rates the signal's overall quality from 0 to 100 and that rating is the score (shown as Overall Quality Score in the AI Analysis panel). If AI could not be used when the signal was scored, the panel shows Rule-based estimate and the score is a simpler estimate worked out from rules (the provider's track record, results on that instrument and the risk/reward ratio) instead of an AI verdict.
The Score Breakdown tiles are shown next to it. They come from the channel's score formula and are not the calculation behind the score. They cover four things:
| Factor | What it looks at |
|---|---|
| Risk/Reward | Take-profit distance compared with stop-loss distance. |
| Provider History | The provider's past win rate in PipSync. A new or unknown provider gets a neutral rating. |
| Stop Loss | How far the stop-loss is from the entry. Too tight and too wide both lower it. |
| TP Levels | How many take-profit levels there are and how evenly the position is split between them. |
In the channel's Score tab (Channels → Settings tab → Parser and analysis → Signal analysis, expand it) you can change the Factor weighting of the breakdown tiles and the Thresholds. Only the Auto-approve from threshold is compared with the AI Score.
The AI Analysis panel may also show an AI-estimated Win Probability and Risk Level (low to extreme) — estimates, not promises. If the AI was unavailable when the signal was scored, the panel shows Rule-based estimate instead. Scoring runs in the background right after the signal is saved, so a brand-new signal can show a placeholder score for a moment.
What the score does — and what it does not
The score does not decide whether a trade opens. Orders come from the channel's Auto-Trading switch or from your tap on Confirm & execute, and neither reads the AI score.
What it can do: when a signal reaches the channel's Auto-approve from threshold (default 70) and also passes an extra machine-learning check, PipSync marks it approved. That is only a status — it does not place an order, and an approved signal still waits for auto-trading or for you. Set the threshold under Channels → Settings tab → Parser and analysis → Score → Thresholds. The auto-approve sliders under Settings → AI and in each channel's settings (gear icon → AI tab) under Settings → Telegram count too (channel setting first, then provider, then your global one). If you never saved the Score tab for a channel, or switched its formula off, the slider alone decides, even below 70. When both are set, the stricter (higher) one wins, a slider left at exactly 70 does not override the Score tab, and a value of 0 or above 100 means never auto-approve.
Parser confidence is a separate thing
Parsing confidence is how sure the reader is that it understood the message. It is not shown as a score and has no setting. When the AI parser reads a message and is not sure enough (a fixed minimum), that read is not accepted; if a fallback reader still produces a signal, the signal is saved for your approval instead of being auto-traded, and you get the notification Signal saved for manual approval. Signals read from screenshots have their own stricter minimum and always wait for your approval.
Use the AI score as a quick sanity check when you review a signal, not as a guarantee. See also A message arrived but no signal was created.
