Every account has an immediate stop that blocks all new execution.
What it does
- Takes effect immediately, before the next signal is evaluated.
- Blocks copied signals and bots on that account.
- Stays on until you turn it off. Nothing re-enables it automatically.
What it does not do
- It does not close open positions. Existing trades keep their stops and targets and keep running.
- It does not disconnect the broker or the signal source.
If you want the positions gone as well, close them yourself — at the broker if you need certainty.
When to use it
- A provider is behaving oddly: duplicate signals, sizes that make no sense.
- Market conditions you do not want automated exposure to.
- Anything unexplained. It is free to switch on and free to switch off.
If you suspect your account is compromised, the kill switch is step one — before changing passwords, before opening a ticket. It is the fastest way to stop money moving.
