Filtering a noisy channel

Keyword rules, symbol allowlists and trading hours — and the filter that silences everything.

Keyword rules

Two lists per channel:

RuleExampleEffect
Requiresignal, entry, buy, sellChatter without any of these never reaches the parser
Blockresults, recap, giveaway, vipEnd-of-day recaps stop being re-traded
The require-list is the filter that silences a channel completely. If signals stop arriving, empty it first and re-test before looking anywhere else.

Symbol allowlist

Restrict a channel to the instruments you actually want. Anything outside the list is logged and skipped — useful when a provider mixes indices or crypto into a forex feed, or when your broker does not carry a symbol.

Trading hours

Limit a channel to the sessions you trust it in. Signals outside the window are recorded but not executed, so afterwards you can check whether the filter cost you anything.

Duplicates

Providers repost setups and forward them into second channels. PipSync fingerprints each signal and refuses to open a second identical position within the dedupe window. If you want two positions from one setup, link two accounts to the source rather than connecting the channel twice.
