Connect Binance or Bybit

Create a trading-only API key, restrict it properly, and know which order types are supported.

Create the API key

    Open API management at the exchange

    Create a new key dedicated to PipSync. Never reuse a key that another bot already holds.

    Enable trading only

    Reading and spot/futures trading on. Withdrawals off. Internal transfer off.

    Restrict by IP if the exchange offers it

    PipSync shows the outbound address to allowlist on the connection screen.

  4. 4

    Paste key and secret into PipSync

    Trading Accounts → Add Account → Binance or Bybit. The secret is shown by the exchange exactly once.

A key with withdrawal rights is the single most expensive mistake in crypto automation. Verify the permission list before you save it — at the exchange, not here.

Markets and sizing

  • Sizing uses the exchange's step size and minimum notional — a signal below the minimum is rejected rather than rounded up.
  • Leverage and margin mode stay as configured at the exchange. PipSync does not change them.
  • Funding fees on perpetuals are the exchange's, and appear in your exchange statement, not in PipSync's fee view.

Symbol mapping

Signals say BTC, the exchange wants BTCUSDT, and the perpetual is a different market from spot. Map the names on the channel so a signal cannot land on the wrong market.
