A cookie is a small text file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. The term in this policy includes related technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, web-beacons, and fingerprinting — collectively "client-side storage". We use them only as described below.
| Category | Purpose | Lifetime | Consent? |
|---|---|---|---|
Strictly necessary — next-auth.session-token, next-auth.csrf-token, __Secure-* | Authentication, CSRF protection, load-balancer affinity | Session / 30 d | Not required (Recital 32 GDPR / ePrivacy Art. 5(3) exception) |
Functional — ps-theme, ps-locale, ps-cookie-consent | Remember theme, language, consent state | 12 months | Strictly necessary subset (consent banner itself) |
| Analytics — first-party Plausible (cookie-less by design) | Aggregate page-view counts and feature usage | No persistent identifier | Required (opt-in) |
| Marketing — none | We do not currently set any third-party advertising or social-media cookies | — | — |
We honour the Do Not Track (DNT: 1) header by treating it as a rejection of analytics cookies. We do not currently process the forthcoming Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal but plan to support it as soon as it is finalised in the W3C track.
If we add, remove, or change the purpose of a cookie or tracker, this policy will be updated and the consent banner re-displayed for users to re-confirm their choice.
