1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") supplements our Terms of Serviceand describes prohibited uses of the PipSync Service. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination, removal of content, reporting to the competent authority, and pursuit of available legal remedies.
2. Prohibited Conduct — General
- Violating any applicable law, regulation, sanctions regime, or third-party right.
- Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation.
- Bypassing, interfering with, or attempting to defeat any security mechanism, rate-limit, or access control.
- Probing, scanning, or testing the Service's vulnerability except via the disclosed bug-bounty channel.
- Transmitting malware, ransomware, worms, trojans, or any malicious code.
- Sending spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or bulk-account creation.
- Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or extracting source code or model weights from the Service except as expressly permitted by mandatory law.
3. Prohibited Conduct — Trading
- Market abuse — including but not limited to layering, spoofing, wash-trading, marking the close, painting the tape, and any other practice prohibited by Reg. (EU) 596/2014 (MAR).
- Insider dealing — using non-public material information to trade or signal trades.
- Front-running — using knowledge of pending PipSync signals or other users' orders to trade ahead of them.
- Coordinated manipulation — using multiple accounts (own or controlled) to amplify the effect of a signal beyond legitimate copy-trading.
- Money laundering, terrorism financing, or any conduct prohibited by Cyprus AML Law 188(I)/2007 and successor legislation.
- Sanctioned-jurisdiction trading — connecting brokers in or trading on behalf of persons in jurisdictions subject to EU/UN/OFAC sanctions.
- Tax evasion — using the Service to conceal taxable income or assets.
4. Prohibited Conduct — Service Use
- Sharing your account credentials with any third party.
- Reselling, leasing, white-labelling, or sublicensing access without a written reseller agreement.
- Using the API or scraping to extract bulk content, signals of other users, or platform-internal data.
- Generating excessive load (e.g. more than the rate-limited budget for your plan) deliberately or through software defects you fail to remediate when notified.
- Storing personal data of third parties in free-text fields without legal basis.
5. Reporting
To report a suspected violation contact [email protected]. Include the relevant account identifiers, time-stamps in UTC, and a brief description. We aim to acknowledge reports within one business day.
6. Enforcement
We may, in our reasonable discretion:
- Pause trading-feature execution while we investigate.
- Suspend or terminate the offending account without prior notice.
- Refuse to issue refunds for the affected billing period.
- Disclose information to brokers, supervisory authorities, or law-enforcement to the extent legally required or appropriate.
- Pursue civil or criminal remedies.
7. Updates
We may update this AUP from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email and in-app banner with at least 30 days' notice.
