How does pricing work?

PipSync has no permanently free plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial of the complete product: a payment method is required to begin it, and nothing is charged if you cancel before day 14. The trial is granted once per workspace, so a returning customer subscribes at full price immediately. The entry plan is Starter at $24/month, covering 1 signal source and 1 broker account with auto-trading included. Higher plans raise those limits and unlock analytics and priority support. Current prices are on the pricing page, which reads the same billing data as your invoice.

Is there a free plan, or only a trial?

Only a trial. The $0 plan was retired in August 2026, so every plan now begins with a 14-day free trial instead. A payment method is required to start it, the trial covers the full plan you picked, and you are not charged if you cancel before day 14. The trial is granted once per workspace — if you subscribed before and cancelled, a new subscription starts as a paid plan immediately rather than as another trial.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. There is no lock-in. Cancel from Settings → Billing and you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling never deletes your data.

What happens when I upgrade mid-period?

The new limits apply immediately and the charge is prorated for the remainder of the current period.

Which brokers does PipSync support?

Accepted Answer

Connectable today: MetaTrader 5, MetaTrader 4, Match-Trade, Binance, Bybit, cTrader. Interactive Brokers is on the roadmap (Q3 2026). Any broker offering one of the supported platforms works — PipSync connects to the platform, not to a specific broker brand.

Does PipSync hold or move my funds?

Accepted Answer

No. PipSync places and manages orders on your broker account and never has custody of your money. MetaTrader has no withdrawal API at all, and exchange API keys should be created without withdrawal permission.

Can I connect more than one broker account?

Yes, up to your plan's limit. One signal source can trade several accounts at once, and each account sizes positions from its own equity and its own risk settings.

Can I run it on a demo account?

Yes, and you should for the first weeks. Demo accounts connect exactly like live accounts and count the same against your plan limit.

Does it work with prop firms?

Technically yes — prop firms hand you a normal platform login. Check your firm's rules on automated execution and copy trading first, and configure your drawdown limits below theirs.

Do I need a VPS or to keep my computer running?

No. Everything runs server-side. Signals are processed and orders routed whether your machine is on or not.

What risk controls are available?

Risk per trade as a percentage of equity, a hard maximum lot size, a daily drawdown limit, a maximum total drawdown, a cap on open positions overall and per symbol, an instrument allowlist, trading-hours windows, and manual approval mode. All of them can be set per account.

What happens when my drawdown limit is hit?

New execution pauses and you are notified. Open positions stay open and their stops and targets keep being managed. The daily limit resets automatically at your configured reset time; the total drawdown limit needs a manual reset.

What if a signal has no stop-loss?

Accepted Answer

By default it is rejected rather than executed. A position with no stop has undefined risk, which no sizing rule can control. You can allow it per channel, but you should not.

How fast is execution?

The parse-and-route path is a fraction of a second; the dominant delay is your broker's own execution and the market's spread at that moment. For scalping signals with very tight stops, that broker-side latency matters more than anything PipSync does.

Does it handle 'close half' and 'move SL to break-even'?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Follow-up messages are matched to the position they belong to and applied as a partial close or a stop modification. Messages that cannot be matched are logged and never applied to another trade.

Is my data secure?

All traffic is TLS-encrypted. Broker credentials are stored through app-managed encryption where storage is required, and are never returned by the API or written to logs. Workspaces are isolated from one another, and two-factor authentication is available on every account.

Why does PipSync need my broker password?

Accepted Answer

MetaTrader requires account credentials to place and manage orders programmatically — there is no token mechanism. That password cannot withdraw funds. cTrader avoids the question entirely by using OAuth, where you authorise access and can revoke it at cTrader.

Is there two-factor authentication?

Yes, TOTP-based, under Settings → Security. Enable it before connecting a live account.

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Export your trade history first, then request deletion from Settings → Account. Records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices, are retained per the privacy policy.

Which signal sources are supported?

Telegram channels and groups, Discord channels, and TradingView webhook alerts including strategy alerts.

Do signals need a specific format?

Accepted Answer

No. For Telegram and Discord the parser reads free-form messages and extracts instrument, direction, entry, stop-loss and take-profit. For TradingView you write the JSON payload yourself from the provided template.

I am not an admin of the signal channel. Can I still use it?

Accepted Answer

Yes — forward the provider's messages into a private channel you own and connect that one instead. The bot needs admin rights only in the channel it reads.

Can it read signals posted as screenshots?

Accepted Answer

No. Image-only signals cannot be parsed. You need a text version of the signal.

Can I send my own signals?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Post them into a private Telegram channel that PipSync reads, or POST them to your TradingView webhook URL from any system that can make an HTTP request.
