Steps
- Channels → Add Telegram Source. PipSync shows the bot username and a one-time verification token for this channel.
- Copy the token. Treat it like a password.
- In Telegram, open the channel → Administrators → Add Admin and add the PipSync bot. Read Messages is the only permission it needs — leave everything else off.
- Post the verify command in the channel, or send it to the bot directly:
/verify YOUR_TOKEN_HERE
The bot confirms and the channel shows as connected.
If you are not an admin
Plenty of paid signal groups do not let subscribers add bots. Use a relay channel:
- Create a private channel you own. Nobody else needs to join.
- Auto-forward the provider's messages into it — any Telegram client with forwarding rules works.
- Connect the relay channel instead. You are the admin there, so the bot goes in cleanly.
Then
Run the channel in test mode for a few days: signals are parsed and shown, no orders are sent. It is the cheapest way to learn a provider's formatting quirks.
