Telegram Bot Setup

Connect the PipSync bot to your Telegram channels to automatically forward trading signals to your broker.

Before you begin

  • A PipSync account with at least Freemium plan
  • A Telegram account
  • Access to the signal channel (you must be a member or admin)

Part 1 — Add the PipSync bot to your channel

1

Find the PipSync bot

In Telegram, search for @PipSyncBot or open the link from your PipSync dashboard under Sources → Add Source → Telegram.

2

Get your channel token

In the PipSync dashboard, go to Sources → Add Source → Telegram. Copy the unique verification token shown on screen — you'll need it in the next step.

3

Add the bot to your channel

Open the Telegram channel where signals are posted. Tap the channel name → Administrators → Add Admin and search for @PipSyncBot.

The bot only needs Read Messages permission. You can leave all other permissions disabled.

4

Verify the connection

Send the command below to the channel (or DM the bot directly):

/verify YOUR_TOKEN_HERE

The bot will confirm the channel is connected to your PipSync account.

Part 2 — Signal parsing

PipSync uses an AI parser to understand common signal formats. It extracts instrument, direction, entry, stop-loss, and take-profit values automatically.

Example signal formats supported:

Format A — simple

BUY EURUSD @ 1.0850
SL: 1.0800
TP: 1.0950

Format B — verbose

📈 SIGNAL ALERT
Pair: XAUUSD (Gold)
Direction: SELL
Entry: 2315.00
Stop Loss: 2325.00
Take Profit 1: 2300.00
Take Profit 2: 2285.00

Parser confidence score

Each parsed signal shows a confidence score in the dashboard. If a signal scores below your configured threshold, it will be held for manual review instead of auto-executing. Adjust the threshold in Sources → [Channel Name] → Parser Settings.

Part 3 — Managing your Telegram source

Pause a source

Go to Sources → [Channel Name] → toggle Active off. Signals will stop being processed but the bot stays in the channel.

Test mode

Enable Test Mode to parse signals without executing trades. Use this to validate your parser settings before going live.

Filter by keywords

Add keyword filters to ignore messages that don't contain trading signals (e.g., news posts, memes). Configure under Sources → [Channel Name] → Filters.

Multiple channels

Pro plan supports unlimited Telegram channels. Add each channel as a separate source and route them to the same or different brokers.
